Yuyuan Sihe Courtyard inherits the ancient method of combining one courtyard into three,

following the form of a quadrangle enclosed on all sides.

With the main residence as the core, it is flanked by east and west wing rooms.

高墙围合，自成一方天地

黛瓦覆檐，回廊绕院

层层院落层层藏景

移步皆见东方含蓄雅致的人居美学

Enclosed by high walls, it forms a separate world.

The eaves are covered with black tiles, and winding corridors surround the courtyard.

Each level of the courtyard hides a different scenery,

revealing the subtle and elegant residential aesthetics of the East with every step.

两根缅甸柚木立柱

Mist drifts over the white walls and gray tiles of Huizhou-style architecture,

with the eaves of the Xie Shan roof gently arching.

Upon passing through the screen wall,

one is greeted by the elegant scenery of the entire garden.

The intricately designed window panes are paired with ink-wash paintings,

while the stone-carved Taiping Vat in the courtyard symbolizes peace and prosperity for the household.

The Burmese teak columns are adorned with inscribed and gilded couplets,

embodying auspicious meanings.

with elegant porcelain vases and carved chairs symmetrically arranged on both sides.

The light gray gauze curtain filters out the external noise,

and the marble floor reflects the soft light of wood.

The white walls on the side of the corridor are set off

by the transparent wooden lattice windows.

The bluestone walkway extends smoothly.

On sunny days, one can embrace the cool breeze;

on rainy days, one can listen to the sound of raindrops through the eaves.
